I can’t believe I haven’t posted this one already! This is not the End of the Book – a conversation between Umberto Eco and Jean-Claude Carrière. This is probably my favourite book cover of last year: the title continues on the back and the spine. It’s reminiscent of another favourite from 2011, The Sense of an Ending. The book itself is, of course, fantastic. I have to stop myself from agreeing with it out loud on public transport.
